A celebrated and an award winning author of 15 books in seven languages, Capt Kunal has 19 years of both onshore and offshore experience which includes working in Baltic Exchange, London in commercial operations.

Capt. (Late) Purnendu Shorey (1972-2024)

Capt. Shorey was an experienced Master Mariner who also had over 30 years of Industry experience, including over 15 years of shore based experience in the areas of Marine Asset Management, Inspections, Surveying, Marine Insurance, Ship Building and Marine HR. His global expertise of working with P&I Clubs, Underwriters, Correspondents, Ship Owners, Operators, Cash Buyers, Ship Building/Breaking yards, Banks and the Offshore Energy sector brought dynamism to the team.

Ever since I got to know about the Business aspect of Shipping Industry, I knew I had to enter this field.
